Brittni Ingvaldson brings 15 years of extensive experience in addiction and mental health counseling as a dual-licensed clinician. She holds licenses in Clinical Professional Counseling and Alcohol and Drug Counseling. Brittni earned her Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota in 2021, following her Bachelor of Arts in Child and Family Development from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, completed in 2008.
Brittni is deeply committed to helping individuals reconnect with their authentic selves by guiding them through the process of exploration, self-challenge, and investment in their healing journey. She creates a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can express a full range of emotions, experience validation, and build a trusted therapeutic relationship. This supportive environment fosters deep healing and self-discovery. Her approach as a contracted therapist is client-centered and flexible, drawing on a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual.
With a broad range of expertise, Brittni works with adolescents and adults of diverse backgrounds, including those who identify as female, male, and LGBTQIA+. Her areas of focus include disordered eating behaviors, body image issues (with a Health at Every Size (HAES) perspective), anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity development, life transitions, bullying, self-harm, trauma, mood disorders, co-occurring disorders, and addictions. Additionally, Brittni provides specialized support for individuals coping with chronic illness, medical traumas, and the unique challenges faced by first responders.
As an independent contractor with over 15 years of experience as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), Brittni brings a wealth of expertise in addiction counseling. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child & Family Development and Psychology from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN.
