Shanna Frenzen, MA, LMFT

Outpatient Therapist & Clinical Supervisor

Shanna Frenzen is a seasoned mental health professional with over 20 years of experience as a therapist. Currently an Outpatient Therapist and Clinical Supervisor, Shanna has worked extensively in both outpatient and in-home settings, specializing in Children’s Therapeutic Services and Supports (CTSS) as well as Children’s Intensive Behavioral Health Services (CIBHS). Throughout her career, she has supervised multiple mental health programs, leading teams dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, and families in need.

Shanna is passionate about working with teenagers, adults, and couples, bringing expertise in trauma, first responders’ mental health, women’s issues, anxiety, and depression. As a certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist, she incorporates specialized techniques to help clients heal from trauma and emotional distress.

Shanna is an independent contractor and holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Bethel University, an undergraduate degree from Bethel College, and a Certificate in Marriage and Family Studies from Bethel Seminary. Her personal interests include health and wellness, outdoor activities, and her Christian faith, all of which contribute to her holistic and compassionate approach to therapy.
